This route is a must for people looking for an easy hike around Kathmandu Valley. The high point of the ridge, at 2732m, provides a stunning view of the city and its outskirts. Much of the trek is made through unspoiled old growth forests of oak, rhododendron and beech. Spot deers, monkeys and jackals along the trail. The trek goes through many beautiful villages.

Suggested Itinerary:

Day 01:

Arrival in Kathmandu, then transfer to hotel / Preparation for trekking.

 
Day 02:

Kathmandu to Kakani to Aale Danda: Drive and trek.

 
Day 03:

Aale Danda to Shivapuri: Trek.

 
Day 04:

Shivapuri to Dhap: Trek.

 
Day 05:

Dhap to Nagarkot: Trek.

 
Day 06:

Nagarkot to Dhulikhel / Namo Buddha and Kathmandu: Trek and drive.

 

Day 07:

Rest day at Kathmandu / Explore Kathmandu valley.

 
Day 08:

Departure to your own destination or continuously Nepal trip.
