The Langtang Himalayas are within easy reach of Kathmandu. But they rival any alpine area on the planet for staggering natural beauty. The Langtang region remains one of Nepal's hidden treasures with far less tourist traffic than the Everest or Annapurna regions.

This trek makes a circuit of the Helambu region through two different national parks. Highlights of the route include typical Sherpa villages, monasteries, and especially picturesque landscape. The region is also famous for its apple production. Trekkers will find this area uncrowded and peaceful

Suggested Itinerary:

Day 01:

Arrival in Kathmandu, then transfer to hotel / Preparation for trekking.

 
Day 02:

Kathmandu to Chisopani (2215m) (15 km/ one hour): Drive by bus/car, trek.

 

Day 03:

Chisapani to Kutumasang (2470m): Trek.

 
Day 04:

Kutumasang to Tharepati (3510m): Trek.

 
Day 05:

Tharepati to Melamchigaon (2530m): Trek.

 
Day 06:

Melamchigaon to Tarkeghyang (2740): Trek.

 
Day 07:

Tarkeghyang to Sermathang (2590m): Trek.

 
Day 08:

Sermathang to Melamchi Bazzar (870m/ 3 hours) to Kathmandu: Trek, drive by bus/jeep.

 
Day 09:

Rest day at Kathmandu / Explore Kathmandu city.

 
Day 10:

Departure to your own destination or continuously Nepal visit.
